2004
Inception and Initial Product Launches
Foundation and First Relocation: ASP was founded in Attleboro, MA, and shortly thereafter, the company moved to Wrentham, MA.
Product Development: The company introduced mortuary inserts and acid neutralizer pillows, addressing specific needs in the mortuary and chemical industries. Additionally, ASP collaborated with Geoff Perry to develop and manufacture wood prosthetics in a basement setting.
2005
Expansion of Product Lines and Operations
Relocation: ASP relocated to East Providence, RI, to accommodate growth.
New Products: The company began manufacturing absorbent booms, socks, and pillows, expanding its absorbent product line. A comprehensive range of acid and base neutralizers was also introduced, catering to industrial safety requirements.


2006-2007
Continued Growth and Mobility
Relocations: ASP moved its operations to Providence, RI, in 2006 and subsequently to Pawtucket, RI, in 2007, reflecting the company's ongoing expansion.
2008
Diversification and Innovation
Product Launches: The company started distributing Mighty Mat floor pads and developed Bio-Bones prosthetics, showcasing its commitment to product diversification.
Flood Control Solutions: ASP developed and manufactured prototype Quick Dam flood bags and barriers, marking its entry into the flood control market.


2009
Certification
Recognition: ASP was certified as a Disadvantaged Woman-Owned Small Business, highlighting its commitment to diversity and excellence.
2011-2012
Introduction of Specialized Products
Product Development: The company launched Sport-Savers and Spill Bucket Socks in 2011, followed by the official launch of the Quick Dam product line in 2012, featuring flood bags and barriers.


2013-2014
Operational Expansion and New Offerings
Relocation: ASP moved to Cumberland, RI, in 2013 to support its growing operations.
Product and Service Expansion: The company introduced artificial arteries and began distributing Water-Gate, a flood control solution. Additionally, ASP migrated Quick Dam sewing production to a contract sewing facility, enhancing production efficiency.
2015-2016
Strategic Partnerships and Innovations
Flood Gate: In 2015, ASP secured exclusive manufacturing and distribution rights for Flood Gates, expanding its flood protection solutions.
Product Development: The company developed Water Curb and SAC-D in 2016, further diversifying its product portfolio. Additionally, ASP obtained a patent for its flood barriers, reinforcing its position as an innovator in the industry.
Relocation: ASP moved back to Cumberland, RI, in 2016, continuing its pattern of strategic relocations to support growth.


2017-2020
Facility Enhancements and Product Line Expansion
Facility Improvement: In 2017, the company enhanced its workspace by painting an indoor wall mural, reflecting its creative culture.
New Products: ASP developed Insta-Dam in 2018 and introduced an indoor water control line in 2019, including mats, drip mats, hi-visibility, and grime-hiding water dams. The company also launched a construction line featuring hi-visibility water barriers, drain seals, liquid lock-slurry, and roll-off dams.
Relocation and Expansion:
In 2020, ASP purchased a 70,000-square-foot office, manufacturing, and distribution facility in Pawtucket, RI, marking a significant investment in its infrastructure. The company also developed and manufactured pump kits during this period.
